Kalank: Watch the teaser of an eternal love story of a spectacular era

The wait is over, folks as the teaser of Karan Johar’s ambitious film Kalank has dropped online and do we even need to say that it’s magical. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the principle roles.

“Kuch rishte karzon ki tarah hote hain. Unhe nibhaana nahi, chukaana padhta hai,” Varun’s Zafar declares as the teaser unfolds with Madhuri’s Bahaar Begum, resplendent as over, appears in a darbaar of sorts. Sonakshi’s Satya and Alia’s Roop make ethereal appearances while Zafar is majestic enough in himself - he also fights a bull in the battlefield.

After the first appearances in the teaser, Roop is seen on the mandap with Dev as she asserts in the backdrop, “Jab kisi aur ki barbaadi apni jeet jaisi lage, toh humse zyaada barbaad aur koi nahi hai iss duniya mein.” The teaser also depicts magnificent dance sequences by Bahaar Begum as well as Roop while a particular scene also features Dev and Satya in an emotional scene.

Baahar Begum and Sanjay Dutt’s formidable Balraj Chaudhary also appear together on screen while the teaser ends with Zafar and Roop walking towards each other during Raavan Dahan as the title track of Kalank, in the voice of Arijit Singh, plays in the background. Eternal love and everything else, Kalank will evoke every emotion.
