It would not be incorrect to say that Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are two of the most talented actors in the industry today. Last month, the duo's first collaboration, Gully Boy hit the screens and it has created a stir in the tinsel town. The musical drama has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and is loosely based on the life of rappers Divine and Naezy. Recently, Zoya shared an epic selfie with her 'Gully Gang' on social media featuring her two stars - Alia and Ranveer.
The selfie went viral in no time and is already making us want a Gully Boy sequel. In the snap, which was shared by the director as her Instagram story, one can see her and Alia leaning on Ranveer's shoulders. The trio is all smile as they pose for a selfie.
Later, the photo was also shared by filmmaker Karan Johar on his Instagram.
In a recent interview, Zoya confirmed that she is planning a sequel to Gully Boy with writer Reema Kagti. Zoya mentioned that the story of rappers in Gully Boy opened up a whole new genre that is yet to be explored completely. Hence, Reema and Zoya are working on the script together and the Gully Boy sequel is underway.
