Bhumi Pednekar to star in a cameo in Vicky Kaushal's upcoming horror drama? Here's what we know so far

It was reported last month that Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar are all set to share screen in a horror drama, which will be bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions along with Shashank Khaitan while newcomer director Bhanu Pratap Singh will helm it. While Vicky was said to have commenced shooting for it as well, Bhumi was expected to join him as the female lead. However, we now hear that the actress will only star in a cameo role, which might be small but will be impactful.

A leading daily quoted a source as saying, "Bhumi has an important but small part to play in the horror drama. She has just about 10 days of shoot because it’s more like an extended special appearance."

As we all know, Vicky and Bhumi are collaborating for Karan's period film Takht and we cannot wait to see them explore the horror genre together as well. For the time being, we await an official confirmation from the actors, as well as the production house.

On the work front, Vicky left everyone impressed with his act in Uri: The Surgical Strike while Bhumi was last seen in Sonchiriya opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
