Has Amitabh Bachchan sold his Rs 3.5 crore Rolls Royce Phantom, a gift from producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra?

It is no new news that Amitabh Bachchan is a car fanatic. With almost thirteen swanky cars in his collection, Amitabh has proven his love for cars. Amitabh recently sold off his Rolls Royce Phantom, priced at Rs 3.5 crore, reported a leading daily. Apparently, the luxury car was a gift to him by producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra. However, no official statement regarding this has been issued. For the unversed, Amitabh has a Mercedez S-Class, a Range Rover, a Bentley GT and a Lexus SUV in his car collection.

According to reports, the car was gifted to Amitabh after being directed by Vidhu in Eklavya: The Royal Guard in 2007. As Vidhu was 'really happy with his performance', he presented the car to Amitabh in turn.
