Karan Johar’s upcoming production venture Kalank is one of the most awaited films of the year. Directed by Abhishek Varman the film has an ensemble cast that boasts of the likes of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kemmu, Madhuri Dixit and Aditya Roy Kapur. After teasing the fans with a picture shared by Varun and Alia on their social media handles, now Karan has finally unveiled the first look from the film.
Karan shared a picture on his Instagram today of a man and a woman sitting in a boat amidst a lake full of lotuses and rowing ahead. He captioned the picture as, “

It is difficult to discern from the picture who are the stars in the image but our guess is that it is Alia and Varun. Apparently, Varun and Alia have been sharing a fun banter on Twitter about the actress being in charge of the marketing of the film. However, Karan has taken offence at this since he says there are a proper team and plan in place. Check out the fun banter below.
