Farhan Akhtar has addressed his relationship and wedding rumours with girlfriend Shibani Dandekar and confessed during a chat show that he might get married to her in April or May. Yes, it’s true. Along with Bhumi Pednekar, Farhan appeared on the chat show Tape Cast Season 2 and while she played a ‘Do Not Play’ cassette during a particular segment, Shibani, herself, popped the question to her beau.
“Hey Farhan, are we getting married in April or May? Can you please let me know because I am very confused,” Shibani asked as Farhan blushed. Well, well, well. Farhan, instead of dodging the question, did elaborate as he said, “I think she is having a lot of fun with a lot of news that is going around currently, about us looking for wedding planners.”

“Are you though?” Bhumi asked as Farhan responded, “It maybe April or May.” Okay, then, guys. That’s about it.
Shibani and Farhan are reportedly dating since 2018 and often share romantic pictures on Instagram. On the show, meanwhile, Farhan also spoke about his relationship with Shibani and said that he is glad to be with her.
"She is an amazing woman. It's been very special, the last year... You know we've been getting to know each other and I couldn't be happier about it. But with the social media world again, we are constantly being told about the things we should be doing. But ya, I have never felt so comfortable to share my personal stuff but I don't know, I just feel like somehow with celebrating all this, it just feels very natural to me," he said.

Moreover, Farhan also added that he felt “rather nice” to inform his fans and followers about his wedding.
"I mean, obviously you don't want to go like crazy and people are like please 'bass kar' but ya, it feels nice to share that because we are always living so sheltered and you are always so protected and your guards are constantly up; especially when it comes to people like your partner in your life and you don't want people to know. I just felt like it's rather nicer to share it with people and include them in the joy and let them feel happy, hopefully. Some might feel a bit jealous that she's with me," Farhan added.
Two days ago, Farhan shared a picture of his fingers intertwined with Shibani’s – and both wore two rings on their engagement fingers. Not solitaires or the regular wedding rings of sorts, but rings for sure. The picture, needless to mention, sparked engagement rumours.

Shibani and Farhan met on the sets of the television show I Can Do That, which was hosted by the actor. Farhan, who was married to Adhuna Bhabani, divorced her in 2017. With Adhuna, Farhan has two daughters – Shakya and Akira.
Workwise, Farhan will appear next in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim.
