Alia Bhatt’s new property is no ‘love nest’ for her and Ranbir; the actress reveals her big plans

It was recently reported that Alia Bhatt has bought a new property for herself after paying an exorbitant amount. As soon as the gossip columns got a whiff of this piece of news they started assuming that it is going to be a ’love nest’ for her to spend some quality time with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. However, now the actress has cleared the air and spoke about her plans for the apartment that she has bought for herself.

Alia told an entertainment portal, “They got the report of me buying new property right. But unfortunately, they got all the other details wrong. Firstly the property is not away from my current home. It is an apartment in the same building where I live now." When she was asked about the new property being a ‘love nest’ since she has no plans of moving out of her current home, Alia said, “Nothing of the sort. It is a place I've bought as my office space. Yes, I've started my own production house. I've named it Eternal Sunshine Productions. Do you like it?"

She further said, “Firstly, I bought this home where I live very close to my parent’s home so that I could be close to my parents and sister. I wouldn’t like that to change. Secondly, I built my home brick by brick all my own. Every piece of furniture in the house every knickknack is selected personally by me. This is where I live. This is my home. That won’t change.”

On the work front, Alia is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. Yesterday, the film’s name and logo were launched in a spectacular event at the Kumbh Mela. She also has Kalank in the pipeline that is slated to release on April 19.
