Will Ibrahim Ali Khan follow his sister Sara's footsteps into Bollywood? Here's what she has to say

Sara Ali Khan made a spectacular debut with Kedarnath in 2018 and subsequently appeared in Simmba. After her entry into Bollywood, rumours of Sara's brother Ibrahim Ali Khan following her footsteps surfaced online. Asked about Ibrahim's interest in Bollywood, Sara said that he intends to make a career in films.

"Ibrahim and I talk about films and I do know that being an actor is what he dreams of. But I have also often told him that having a dream and living it are two different things. There is a lot of hard work because it’s not just glitz and glamour and I think he is aware of that. If he puts his heart and soul into something, he can do it. I have seen him do plays and all before and I think he has a lot of conviction and a lot of talent. But to be totally honest with you, I am his sister and I will have some bias,” she added.

Born to Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara was a target for nepotism haters. However, Sara said it wasn’t difficult for her to get past the trappings of being a star kid.

“The truth is that I haven’t grown up around films. I lived with a single mother who stopped doing mainstream cinema a long time ago. And as far as my father is concerned, our conversations are never about Bollywood. The first set I’ve ever really been on, was the first two days of Kedarnath, watching Sushant Singh Rajput shoot. So I didn’t really need to divert myself from a filmy upbringing,” Sara told.

Sara, recently, made her debut on the sixth season of Karan Johar's celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan and impressed fans with her spunk, all thanks to her mother she said.

“I’ve lived with her. I admire her and I look up to her. Our job is to act and if we start doing that on a real basis, it’s going to get boring and repetitive for us as much as for anybody else. It’s easier being real. I look up to mom. I think that she is who she is and is very proud of that. She is real and it has brought her a long way. If you are a liar, no makeup artist and no camera person in the world can conceal lies, so being honest is the better and the safer way to go,” Sara said.
