Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are pretty much in love and are quite public about their alleged relationship but hold on. Did Farhan and Shibani just get engaged? Well, we aren’t saying this but the internet is after Farhan’s new Instagram post went viral. Farhan, on Sunday, shared a picture of his fingers intertwined with Shibani’s – and both wore two rings on their engagement fingers. Not solitaires or the regular wedding rings of sorts, but rings for sure.
“There's something so real about holding hands, a kind of complex simplicity, saying so much by doing so little. ~ unknown,” read Farhan’s caption of the post that also included Shibani’s tag. As far as the internet is concerned, folks are thrilled to begin with as Farhan’s Instagram feed is filled with congratulatory messages and questions inquiring about their engagement. “@farouhaktar Engaged? May I be congratulated?,” read one comment while another user said, “Congrats @faroutakhtar and @shibanidandekar.” Another fan wrote, “Congratulations for eternal Bond.”

Shibani and Farhan are reportedly dating since 2018 and often share romantic pictures on Instagram.

Shibani and Farhan met on the sets of the television show I Can Do That, which was hosted by the actor. Farhan, who was married to Adhuna Bhabani, divorced her in 2017. With Adhuna, Farhan has two daughters – Shakya and Akira.
Workwise, Farhan will appear next in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim.
