Ranbir Kapoor is currently making the most of his time in Switzerland for his friend Akash Ambani’s pre-wedding bash and if a report in a leading daily is anything to go by, the actor has kept himself free from March 8 – March 10 for the big fat wedding. Akash, son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, will marry Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta, on March 9 in Mumbai.
Considering the fact that Ranbir and Akash are really good friends, sources told the daily that the 36-year-old actor wanted to reserve his dates so that he can enjoy his friend’s wedding. If this report is true, Akash will certainly be more than happy as the source told the daily, “Akash is partial when it comes to his love for Ranbir.’’

Before the wedding, the Ambanis are hosting a pre-wedding party in Switzerland for Akash’s close friends from the film industry. Apart from Ranbir, celebrities including Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, are also in Switzerland for the party. International bands and artistes – Coldplay and The Chainsmokers – also performed at the event.
Akash and Shloka’s engagement was held in 2018 in the presence of close friends and family members, following which a party was hosted to celebrate the occasion – A-list celebrities were invited to the do.

As for Ranbir Kapoor, he was last seen in Sanju and will appear next in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt, scheduled for release on Christmas.
