Rishi Kapoor, who is currently undergoing treatment in the United States, congratulated international make-up artist Greg Cannom for winning his fourth Oscar award at the 91st Academy Awards. Cannom was behind the transformation Rishi Kapoor in Kapoor & Sons.
Cannom won the award for transforming Hollywood star Christian Bale into former Vice President Dick Cheney in the film Vice.
In the post, Rishi shared pictures from the makeup room of Kapoor & Sons, where Greg is seen setting the prosthetics and makeup in place and captioned it, "Congratulations Greg Cannom for your fourth Oscar for the film 'Vice'. You did 'Kapoor & Sons' with me. Bravo."
Rishi, in another tweet, shared a complete picture of his look as Amarjeet Kapoor, the eldest Kapoor from the film. He wrote that the entire transformation took 5 hours.
Not just Rishi, Neetu Singh also shared the same picture on her Instagram account to wish the veteran makeup artist. Neetu wrote, "Congratulations Greg Cannom for your fourth Oscar."
For the uninitiated, Greg has previously bagged awards for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Mrs Doubtfire and Dracula. Also in 2005, he received a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy for development of a special modified material used in makeup.
