Angad Bedi to play Janhvi Kapoor's brother in Gunjan Saxena's biopic titled 'Kargil Girl'?

After impressing everyone with a stellar performance in her debut film Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to feature in Kargil Girl, a biopic based on IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. The actress has already started shooting for the biopic last week in Lucknow will be seen putting on weight for her character.

Interestingly, we now hear that Angad Bedi has managed to make way into Karan Johar’s camp and will be seen as Gunjan's brother Anshuman Saxena in the film. A source close to the development told a leading daily, "Angad plays an army officer, like Gunjan’s real-life brother Anshuman, while Pankaj Tripathi plays their father."

What's more? Angad and Janhvi will be recreating Anil Kapoor's popular song, One Two Ka Four, for the film. The duo was apparently spotted shooting for the iconic Ram Lakhan song on the streets of Nirala Nagar in Lucknow. The team will wrap up the shoot of the ongoing schedule by March 2, post which they will come to Mumbai. For the next schedule, they will once again head to Lucknow in April.

Meanwhile, Gunjan Saxena biopic is being bankrolled by KJo's Dharma Productions and helmed by debutante Sharan Sharma. Gunjan was the first female IAF pilot who flew into a combat zone during the Kargil War in 1999 and helped evacuate soldiers. For her bravery, she was honoured with the Shaurya Chakra, an Indian military decoration.
