Legendary actress Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018. A day prior to her first death anniversary her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor shared an emotional and heartfelt post for the actress. Sridevi died in Dubai last year and her passing was mourned by the entire nation as she went away too soon leaving behind husband Boney Kapoor and two young daughters-Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Their sudden loss was too heavy a burden to bear but the entire Kapoor clan including Boney’s son and daughter-Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor from his first marriage to Mona Shourie Kapoor proved a pillar of strength for them.
Janhvi shared a throwback picture which shows Sridevi holding Janhvi in her lap. The picture does not show their faces but we can assume that it is the mother-daughter duo. She captioned the picture as, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.” Take a look at the picture below.

As Janhvi shared the post, sister Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Masaba Gupta, brother Akshay Marwah and several others came forward to express their love on the young actress. The Kapoor family had held a special prayer for the late actress at her Chennai home previously, as per the tithi her death anniversary was on February 14.
