Siddhant Chaturvedi is reaping accolades for his outstanding performance in Gully Boy that stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film directed by Zoya Akhtar is raking in the moolah at the box office and has made Siddhant a household name. The actor has made his mark in the film in which he is not even in the lead role but is playing the supporting character of rapper MC Sher in the film.
Siddhant who made his debut with Gully Boy is also garnering applause for his previous outing, the web series, Inside Edge. Both his projects were made under the banner of Ritesh Sidhwani’s and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. In fact, Zoya spotted him at the success bash of the web series and asked him to audition for the role of MC Sher in Gully Boy. Now, as reported by a trade website, the production house is planning to back a solo hero film with Siddhant in the lead.
