The trailer of Notebook, produced by Salman Khan under his banner, has been released and depicts a breathtaking love story. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Notebook marks the debut of Pranutan Bahl, daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of veteran actress Nutan. Zaheer Iqbal, who stars opposite Pranutan, is also making his debut with the film.

Set in the picturesque locales of Kashmir, Notebook narrates the classic love story of Pranutan’s Firdaus and Zaheer’s Kabir. The trailer of the film begins with Kabir, saying that he has fallen for Firdaus, whom he has never met. Firdaus plays a school-teacher in Notebook and her students are fond of her but she is asked to leave the school, suggestively by a relative, much to her dismay.

At the school, Kabir replaces Firduas as the teacher and students accept him reluctantly. Soon after, the trailer depicts that Kabir finds himself falling for Firdaus and when he asks for her, he is told the she is about to get married soon. Thereafter, Kabir writes about his feelings for Firdaus in his notebook, saying that he may not meet her in his lifetime, but will remain with her forever in the notebook.

The film also features a reworked version of the song Bhumbro from Hrithik Roshan’s 2000 film Mission Kashmir.
