Aamir Khan visited Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor in New York recently as the veteran actress shared a delightful picture from their meet on Instagram on Thursday. Mr Kapoor has been in New York since September last year as he is undergoing medical treatment - his wife has been with him in the Big Apple ever since.
Along with the picture, Neetu Kapoor wrote a heartfelt caption regarding Aamir’s visit and said, “It’s not how many hours one spends with a person it’s how much u give in that time !!! Aamir gave so much n more Love Respect Warmth Laughter !! He is a true superstar.” The picture in question is a memorable frame, starring Aamir, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, in full spirits.

During their stay in New York, Rishi Kapoor had several visitors including Priyanka Chopra and Anupam Kher. Mr Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Alia Bhatt also spent New Years with him in New York.

In September 2018, Rishi Kapoor informed his fans and followers on Twitter that he was taking a "short leave from work" to go to the US for medical treatment because of the "wear and tear" caused due to working in Bollywood for over four decades.
While speaking to a leading entertainment portal in January, Rishi Kapoor had provided a medical update, saying, "My treatment is on, hopefully I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtue."
