Prateik Babbar got married to his longtime girlfriend Sanya Sagar on January 24 in Lucknow and ever since then, the two have been posting mushy pictures with each other on social media. Interestingly, on the occasion of Valentine's Day, the Mulk actor had posted a semi-nude picture on his Instagram account with his wife Sanya.
However, soon after, the two met with heavy trolling after the netizens slammed them for posting the topless picture amidst the Pulwama terror attack, which took place in Jammu & Kashmir and killed at least 40 CRPF jawans. Most of the trolls targeted him for being insensitive to the tragedy.
Following the backlash, Prateik eventually deleted the picture but it did not end there as internet users trolled him again by asking, "Why did you delete your Valentine’s Day picture with your loved one?" Here are few of the comments:
Prateik and Sanya tied the knot in a Marathi-style Hindu ceremony was attended by friends and family members of the couple. The wedding was followed by a low-key reception in Lucknow.
On the work front, the actor featured in Baaghi 2 and Mulk last year and has Brahmastra and Chhichhore in the pipeline.
