Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone cheer for Prakash Padukone as he wins the Lifetime Achievement Award

Sportstar Prakash Padukone was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to badminton at an award ceremony held at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai on February 14 while his wife Ujjala Padukone, daughter Deepika Padukone, and son-in-law Ranveer Singh, attended the event to cheer for him.

Pictures of Ranveer and Deepika with Prakash and Ujjala Padukone are doing the rounds of the internet. For the event, Deepika looked ecstatic in a Gauri & Nainika dress while Ranveer was handsome in a suit. Apart from interacting with the audience at the event, Ranveer and Deepika also posed for pictures on stage with her parents.

After the event, Deepika, Ranveer and Prakash Padukone, were spotted exiting the venue.

Prakash Padukone is an Arjuna and Padma Shri awardee, and also won a bronze medal at the 1974 Asian Games, gold at the 1979 Commonwealth Games and is the first Indian to win the All England Championships in 1980.
