The countdown to Akshay Kumar’s eagerly anticipated film Kesari started from today with glimpses from the film being shared by the superstar on social media. Before releasing the trailer, which is slated to come out on February 21, the makers are sharing glimpses from the film which has piqued audience interest tremendously in the film.
Besides Akshay, Kesari also stars Parineeti Chopra. Akshay shared the third video and captioned it as, “It was 21 SIKHS fighting 10,000 INVADERS. #GlimpsesOfKesari TRAILER out on 21ST FEB! #KesariTrailer21Feb.”

The film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, the greatest battle ever fought where a regiment of mere 21 Sikhs faced an army of 10,000 invaders. The battle was fought between the 21 Sikhs of the British Indian Army against the Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen to protect the forts of Lockhart and Gulistan on the border areas of Afghanistan. The third clip shared by Akshay today shows a glimpse of the fort and the oncoming army of invaders who surround the fort.

The video shows the last stand made by these 21 Bravehearts and how they assess the army from the ramparts of the fort. Akshay is seen in the last scene holding a rifle and giving the command of, “Fire” to his team members.
