On the occasion of Basant Panchami, it's a popular Bengali ritual to worship Goddess Saraswati. Staying true to her Bengali genes, actor Lisa Ray and her twin daughters Sufi and Soleil became part of the divine festivities, a first for the two baby girls.
Lisa took to her Instagram account to share three heartwarming pictures of her twins, dressed in traditional ethnic outfits. Sufi and Soleil, her beautiful twin children with husband Jason Dehni, had their “hathey khori” which is a Saraswati puja tradition in West Bengal.
In it, children are offered a plate with a pen, book, and money, and have to pick one thing--indicating the path they will choose in life. If you’re curious, Lisa revealed that her two darlings chose a book and pen, each. Funnily, it was Soleil who grabbed a book by Rumi, instead of Sufi!
Awwwww the babies look too cute for words - chubby cheeks, bright eyes, and happy smiles! Considering the tough journey Lisa has had with cancer, this one stands special!
