Just a week back Rajkummar Rao's and Bhumi Pednekar's Koffee With Karan episode aired and there was quite some buzz about it as both Raj and Bhumi revealed a lot many things. In the episode, Karan asked the Stree actor, “If you were to play a gay character, the actor you’d like to be paired opposite.” To this, Rajkummar had instinctively replied, “You're not doing anything after Bombay Velvet?” Karan laughed and replied, “I’m talking about a successful actor.” We never got to know the answer amid all the banter but now we have the answer and we assure you that you are going to love it as much as we did.
Rajkummar, whose latest release Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a same-sex love story, was again asked the same question in an interview with a leading daily, who would he like to be cast opposite, in case he is ever offered to do a gay love story. And the answer would have everybody dreaming for it to come true. Rajkummar answered that he would want Ranveer Singh to play his partner. He said, “Anybody who my director/producer decides on. I’ve never got into the casting of any of my films. Whatever they think is fine. I just do my bit seriously.”

"If I have to answer, it's Ranveer I really like. I’m really fond of him these days. Ranveer Singh. He’s doing some great work and I’m very inspired by his work.” Well, we would sure love to see the two splendid actors share screen space together.
