Sanya Malhotra, who made her debut in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s Dangal, has been applauded for her performance in her 2018 releases Pataakha and Badhaai Ho. Meanwhile, reports were rife that she has also signed up for a role in the biopic of Indian mathematician Shakuntala Devi, also termed as a 'human computer'. The film, which will be directed by Anu Menon and produced under Ronnie Screwvala’s banner RSVP, reportedly features Vidya Balan playing the lead role.
While details about Sanya's character were kept under wraps until now, we hear that the stunning actress has been roped in to Vidya's daughter in the film, which is set to go on the floors in mid-2019. A leading daily quoted a source as saying, "Sanya has liked the story and being a huge Vidya fan is keen to share the screen with her but she has yet to sign on the dotted line. The film will roll this year."

Well, it would be interesting to see the two firebrand actresses spell magic on the silver screen.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vidya is all set to make her Tamil debut with Pink remake which is helmed by Boney Kapoor, apart from starring in Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal. Sanya, on the other hand, will appear next in Ritesh Batra's Photograph, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
