Did Ranbir and Alia ignore Sidharth Malhotra’s invite for his birthday party?

Sidharth Malhotra, who turned 34 on January 16, celebrated his birthday in the presence of celebrities including Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez on Tuesday in Mumbai. But that’s not the story. What is, is the fact that Sidharth apparently invited alleged ex-girlfriend Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor, as well but their absence from the party has kept gossip mills busy ever since. Alia is currently dating Ranbir.

A leading website reports that Ranbir and Alia might have ignored Sidharth’s invitation to his birthday party or it could be possible, that the couple was busy with work. Not that we are expecting an answer to this report but this is what it is. Alia and Sidharth reportedly dated after their 2012 debut Student Of The Year and are said to have separated in 2017.

Meanwhile, Ranbir, Alia and Sidharth were part of a delegation of young actors, who travelled to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 10 for a discussion on the impact of cinema. On the chartered private jet during their journey, Alia and Sidharth didn’t engage in conversation with each other. It was quite a controversial structure in the flight considering Ranbir was present as well, who also didn’t bother speaking to Sidharth, a leading daily reported last week.

If the current report is anything to go by, Sidharth, in an attempt to end cold vibes between Ranbir, Alia and himself, had sent out his birthday invitation but it clearly didn’t go as planned.

Workwise, Sidharth, last seen in Aiyaary, will appear next in Jabariya Jodi. Ranbir and Alia are co-stars of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, scheduled for release in Christmas.
