Our Bollywood leading ladies have tried their hands at Hollywood projects. Priyanka Chopra is currently the toast-of-the-town and has taken the western industry by storm. Deepika Padukone has also featured in a Hollywood film titled xXx: The Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel and prior to that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has starred in a few western films. However, our Bollywood heroes have always refrained from crossing the ocean and trying their luck in Hollywood maybe because they are not willing and ready to eat humble pie.
However, Ranveer Singh who is Bollywood’s best bet today recently revealed in an interview that there were several times that he was roped in for a role in a Hollywood project but due to some reason or the other he could never take it up. On a chat show, Ranveer made the big revelation about his Hollywood dreams. During the interview, he was asked whether he has ever auditioned for a role in the West. To this Ranveer revealed that he very much did and was even roped in for a few roles. He said, “Yes, I have, I have landed some parts also. It’s just scheduling conflicts I couldn’t make it.”

However, when he was asked to name the films, the actor chose not to divulge the details saying that it’s not right. Now, that we know Ranveer has these starry dreams we wish we could see him in a Hollywood project soon. Looking at his trajectory and the way he has been owning every role in his career we’re sure he will do a great job if he features in a Hollywood project.
