On Army Day today, Sushant Singh Rajput took everyone by surprise when he unveiled the motion poster of his next film Rifleman. The actor who is on a high after the success of his last film Kedarnath took the opportunity to announce his next film while several celebrities were busy paying tributes to the Indian Army. The film narrates the story of an Indian soldier played by Sushant. The motion poster shows a war scene with heavy firing going on in the midst of the hilly terrain.
Sushant shared the motion picture on Instagram and captioned it as, “An advancing enemy. A border to protect. One Braveheart. #RIFLEMAN On the occasion of Army Day, excited to announce my next film. @indianarmy.adgpi The film is produced by @abundantiaent & @pooja_ent.”

Sushant also released the poster of the film on Twitter. The film is jointly produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Pooja Films and is slated for a release this year.

Sushant has a chock-a-block schedule this year as several of his films are in the pipeline and will be releasing this year itself. Sushant has three more releases lined up in the form of Sonchiriya, Kizie Aur Manny, Chhichhore and Drive. He would also be seen in Chanda Mama Door Ke and a biopic on Paralympian Murlikant Petkar.
