John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter finally has a release date will hit theaters on April 12


John Abraham has emerged as one of the most profitable stars of late. His last few releases including last year’s Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Satyameva Jayate have been proof of his rising hold at the box office. His film Romeo Akbar Walter aka RAW which has been in the works for quite some time now has finally got its release date. The film is finally releasing on April 12, 2019.

Romeo Akbar Walter was first announced with Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead but the actor opted out due to some commitment and date issues and finally John came onboard to start the project. The film is spy-thriller and also stars Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Sikander Kher. The film is based on true events that happened in the 1970s.

Romeo Akbar Walter is directed by Robbie Grewal and is produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia and Gary Grewal. The film has been extensively shot in Mumbai, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir and Nepal. In the film, John is reportedly going to sport a number of disguises since he is playing the role of a spy. National award-winning makeup artist Vikram Gaikwad has been roped in to create his various looks for the films.
