Street Dancer: Varun Dhawan to shoot a dance sequence at the Wagah Border on Republic Day

Remo D’Souza’s forthcoming 3D dance film, tentatively titled Street Dancer, has been grabbing a lot of attention ever since Katrina Kaif opted out of it citing 'genuine date issues'. However, it was soon announced that Shraddha Kapoor will be stepping into Kat's shoes and will be reuniting with Varun Dhawan, with whom she had previously worked in ABCD 2.

Now a latest report in a leading daily suggests that Varun will be shooting a major dance sequence at the Attari-Wagah border on Republic Day and the actor has already started rehearsals for it. What's more? He will be performing in front of the live audience there. The daily quoted a source as saying, "The final permissions are still being worked out but the plan is for Varun to perform in front of a live audience on January 26. The V Unbeatable Dance Crew, a participant in the fourth season of the talent hunt show Dance Plus, which Remo judges, will be performing with Varun who is really kicked about this performance."

While Varun kickstarts the project on January 22 itself in Amritsar, Shraddha will be joining him in the film's second schedule, which is slated to be shot in London.

Meanwhile, Varun will shoot for a celebratory song as well during his stay in Punjab. Interestingly, popular Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa of Super Singh and Sardaarji 2 fame has apparently been roped to match steps with the actor. The cast and crew of the film will then head to UK after wrapping the Punjab schedule by January 28.
