Ranveer Singh gets animated as he graces the cover of popular comic book Tinkle

Bollywood stars gracing the covers of magazines are passé, because Ranveer Singh has just gone ahead and achieved something more. He has become one of those rare Bollywood superstars who has been featured on the front page of one of India’s most famous comic magazines, i.e. Tinkle. After providing us with animated posters of his character Simmba during promotions of his film, now the actor will feature in a comic story in Tinkle as well. Tinkle is a well-known comic that has such enigmatic and iconic characters like Shikari Shambhu, Suppandi, Kaalia the crow and Kapish the monkey.

Ranveer shared the cover of the comic on his Instagram today, and we must say the actor has truly arrived. Ranveer’s animated character can be seen clicking a selfie with Shikari Shambhu, Suppandi and Tantri the Mantri. Now, all we need is his animated series like The Little Singham that has taken over the imagination of kids all over the country to air on television, and knowing Rohit Shetty this might be the next logical thing. He shared the picture and captioned it simply as, “@tinklecomicsstudio.” We also get to see his photo on the cover in a blurb with the caption. “Exclusive, Ranveer Singh, comic inside.”

Apparently, Tinkle studios further revealed that there will be an exclusive interview of Ranveer and his superstar wife Deepika Padukone inside as well. Ranveer’s film Simmba that released on December 28 has been smashing records at the box office left, right and centre. He will be next seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt playing the role of a rapper. The film is based on the real-life story of the famous rapper Divine.
