Omar Abdullah takes a dig at Vivek Oberoi’s casting as PM Modi, says Salman Khan hota to maza aata

The year 2019 will see several biopics releasing at the box office, with a few based on political leaders as well. The first one to release is The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna and based on former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The film is slated to release on January 11. Yesterday, the first look of Vivek Oberoi from the biopic on PM Narendra Modi was unveiled and the actor was unrecognizable in the poster.

However, not many were amused and as is the habit of political leaders they could not let an opportunity go by without trying to ridicule or comment. Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah took to Twitter today and took a dig at the makers of PM Narendra Modi’s biopic. He compared The Accidental Prime Minister and the Modi biopic and went on to make a scathing remark roping in Salman Khan and probably fuelling the well-known animosity between the superstar and Vivek.
