Last year, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor left his fans in a state of dismay after he announced that he was leaving the country to go to the United States due to medical reasons that stemmed from years of 'wear and tear'. Soon after he left, rumours spread like wildfire that Rishi was undergoing cancer treatment, however, his brother Randhir Kapoor dismissed all reports and said that he was just going through some tests.
But speculations of Rishi suffering from cancer once again were ignited with Neetu Singh's latest Instagram photo, in which the Kapoor family was seen spending their New Year's Eve in the Big Apple. In her post, Neetu had written, "Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign," as she wished everyone a Happy New Year. These lines were proof enough to make everyone understand that Neetu dropped a major hint about her husband's ill-health. Moreover, Rishi's frail health in the picture added fuel to the fire.

While the fans were disheartened to read that, Rishi's brother Randhir has once again given everyone a ray of hope by telling a leading daily, "I don't know much about it but this much I can tell you that [Rishi] is doing well." He further said, "Let people say whatever they want to. That he is doing is well is evident from the photo that I, too, have seen. He is having a good time with everyone and has stepped out to enjoy a good meal. He will soon be coming back to India. We are looking forward to that right now."
Well, we certainly hope so!
