Veteran actor Kader Khan passes away at 81 after a prolonged illness

Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan, who was admitted to a hospital due to critical condition, passed away today around 4 am in Canada at the age of 81. He was staying in Canada with his son Sarfaraz and daughter-in-law. His health was critical and was constantly deteriorating. He had been complaining of several health issues, which were causing him breathlessness. Keeping in mind his frail condition, the doctors had shifted him from a regular ventilator to a BiPAP ventilator. This was done to help him recover without causing harm to his health but unfortunately, the actor took his last breath today.

The veteran actor had stopped talking and was showing symptoms of pneumonia. His frail condition was because of the PSP ailment that he had been grappling with. Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), also known as Steele–Richardson–Olszewski syndrome is a degenerative disease in which specific parts of the brain deteriorates and stops functioning properly. He also underwent surgeries in his knees in 2017.
