Angad Bedi to romance Janhvi Kapoor in the Gunjan Saxena biopic?

Last week it was reported that Karan Johar who is foraying into bigger avenues with his Dharma Productions and venturing into collaborations with southern filmmakers and southern stars has roped in Dulquer Salmaan for the Gunjan Saxena biopic starring Janhvi Kapoor. However, now the buzz is that Dulquer will not play the pivotal part in the biopic on India’s first female combat aviator but instead Angad Bedi will be essaying the role and getting to romance Jnahvi.

A leading trade website reported that Angad has managed to make way into Karan’s camp and will be seen in the crucial role in the film. Now, that’s a great piece of news especially since Neha Dhupia who is the wife of Angad shares a great rapport with Karan.

Angad has been on an ascent with his filmography after starring in films like Pink and Soorma. Interestingly, Dulquer and Angad will share screen space in Sonam Kapoor starrer The Zoya Factor where both the actors will be playing the role of cricketers. Angad has been a cricket player in real life and is the son of legendary cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi.
