You are in trouble my friend; your daughter is soon going to be a heroine: Salman told Mohnish Bahl about daughter Pranutan

Nutan’s granddaughter and Mohnish Bahl’s daughter Pranutan Bahl is all set to hit the screens with her debut film Notebook starring another debutant Zaheer Iqbal. She is being launched by none-other-than Salman Khan in the film that is all set to release on March 29, 2019. Salman had previously announced the debutants on social media and now he took to Twitter to announce that the trailer of the film Notebook will be released soon. Today, the debutants gave an interview to a leading daily and spoke about how they came on board the film and Pranutan revealed the advice she received from her dad.

Pranutan told the daily about how she landed the role and said, “Salman sir called my dad from the US and asked him to send me for an audition. Immediately after, he called dad again to say, “You are in trouble my friend, your daughter is soon going to be a heroine.” Apparently, when Mohnish came to know about her inclination towards acting he had some words of caution for her.

Pranutan revealed Mohnish’s reaction when he heard about her debut and said, “The first time I told dad that I wanted to be an actress, he asked me if I was sure because the industry is an uncertain place to be in. Some people are hugely over-rated, some under-rated and there are times when even talent doesn’t get you work. I used to believe that coming from a film family, I would easily bag at least a couple of projects, but dad was quick to point out that my background was an advantage only till I arrived on the set. The minute I faced the camera for the first shot, it didn’t matter whose daughter or granddaughter I was.”

Apparently, Mohnish is also going to star in the film in a small role. Notebook is a love story set in Kashmir. The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and is being produced by Salman under his banner Salman Khan Films along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios.
