Bharat came unexpectedly but I didn't look at it with any prejudice: Katrina Kaif on replacing Priyanka Chopra

Katrina Kaif is somebody who is known for speaking her mind. The actress herself admitted that she can not conceal her emotions, as much as she might want to. While speaking to a leading daily, Katrina was asked about her thoughts on replacing Priyanka Chopra in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. Katrina replied saying she was not expecting the project to fall in her kitty but it happened.

She added, “It came unexpectedly but I didn't look at it with any prejudice or pre-conceived thoughts. I told Ali, ‘We all know the situation and you know what's best for us to do here.’ He responded saying, ‘You just tell me your instinct on the script, then we'll talk about it.’” Upon reading the script, Katrina immediately fell in love with it and came on board to become a part of the project, she said.

And what about Katrina and Priyanka’s vibe with each other? Given the actress replaced Priyanka in Bharat and came to Ali’s rescue, it may raise a thought that the two actresses share a hostile vibe; only the vibe seems to be a cordial one.

In fact, Katrina recently took to Instagram to wish Priyanka on her wedding with Nick and wrote, “Congratulations. You both look wonderful. All the love and happiness to you both,” followed by a handful of heart emojis.
