I know mere bachche, but kar na: Aanand L. Rai to Katrina everytime she broke down while filming Zero

While everybody is gearing up for the release of Zero, actress Katrina Kaif has revealed that she did not find the experience of shooting the film very fulfilling. In a recent interview with a leading daily, Katrina was asked about her experience and the actress shared, “The work was inspiring and challenging, but personally it was not a fun place to go to. After a 10-day or a two-week schedule, we'd take a break, and when I got back to the set, I'd confess to Aanand L. Rai sir that I didn't want to go back to the deeply sad space where Babita's obnoxious behaviour was stemming from. He'd nod, ‘I know mere bachche, but kar na.’”

Katrina also added that Aanand was her companion during this journey and that he did a lot without having an overbearing presence. She added, “All three of us, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and me are playing difficult, unusual characters and we needed his support.”

Katrina will be seen playing the role of a superstar, Babita, who falls for Shah Rukh Khan’s character. One of the first looks of Katrina from the film showed her in a rather disheveled condition with her makeup bleeding and a lost look in the eyes.

Zero casts Shah Rukh as a vertically-challenged man, and is scheduled to release on December 21.
