Everyone was keenly waiting for the wedding pictures of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and as soon as PeeCee shared them on Instagram, the world went into a tizzy.
Apart from her fans world-over, a number of her contemporaries also took to Instagram to extend their hearty wishes to the couple. Alia Bhatt took to Instagram stories to share the pictures of the lovely couple and wrote, “Just too beautiful! Congratulations you guys!! @priyankachopra @nickjonas."
Katrina Kaif shared a picture from their Indian wedding in Instagram stories and captioned it as, "Congratulations @priyankachopra you both look wonderful all the love and happiness to you both." Deepika Padukone, who is herself a new bride wrote, “Congratulations (with a red heart)” on a wedding picture shared by Priyanka.
Priyanka worked with Deepika in Bajirao Mastani. As for Katrina, the lady replaced Priyanka after she walked out of Bharat owing to her marriage plans with Nick.
On a video shared by Priyanka, Anushka wrote, “You guys looked beautiful together. Wish you guys a blissful and blessed forever and ever." Priyanka worked with Anushka in Dil Dhadakne Do. Sonam Kapoor also took to Instagram to share, "You guys look insanely stunning. Congratulations, darlings.” She also tweeted, "Oh god Priyanka what a fairy tale and you look breathtaking." Neha Dhupia also wrote, “Congratulations u two … always and forever”
Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) was one of the first celebrities to wish the couple. He wrote, “Congrats fam! So happy for you two Xox @nickjonas” Priyanka made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch where she shared screen space with The Rock, whereas Nick also worked with him in Jumanji. Actress Elizabeth Chambers Hammer who attended the wedding also wrote, “Soulmates” on Priyanka's and Nick’s picture.
Over the years, Priyanka has entered a league of her own. The lady might have been in competitive zones with Katrina, Deepika, and others at one time. But now, she seems to be setting her own benchmarks and breaking them as she carves her way ahead.
