The much anticipated day for the release of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is finally here and the fans have gone crazy in the fervour and devotion to their cinematic idols. The film 2.0 which was delayed for years finally hit the box office today. The fanclubs of the actors had requested the multiplex to open bookings early and in fact even booked an entire theatre for themselves. The Hindi version of the sci-fi film has grabbed the fifth spot in the advance booking. However, the craze of the fans are not looking to slow down, it has only just increased and they are resorting to new ways to shower their love on Rajinikanth.
Fans were seen pouring milk over Rajinikanth’s posters. They celebrated the release of 2.0 amidst dhol-tasha and dance. Rajinikanth who boasts of an enviable fan following among the celebrities was once again hailed as the numero uno by his fans. His every release is celebrated like a festival and the release of 2.0 was no different.

Fans had gathered in the wee hours of today to watch Thalaiva’s 2.0 first day first show. 2.0 has been directed by S Shankar. The film was paused for 3 minutes to celebrate Rajinikanth’s entry in the film. The film has got a tremendous response on its first day but we are yet to find out whether any records have been set by the film. 2.0 has released in five languages and also stars Amy Jackson.
