Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in a fairytale wedding at Lake Como in Italy on November 14 and 15. Their marriage took the entire country by storm and everyone was eagerly waiting to see their wedding pictures. Now, in an interview to a leading entertainment portal, Ranveer revealed that he is super excited to start this new phase of his life. He calls himself extremely lucky and the husband of the millennium. After creating benchmarks for every boyfriend out there the actor is proving that he is going to be the perfect husband too.
Talking about his marriage Ranveer revealed that he had been ready to get married to Deepika since quite a long time. He said, “I’ve been ready for a while. I was just waiting for Deepika to be ready. It would happen whenever she had decided. I was fully ready and raring to go.” Talking about Deepika and how he realized that she is the woman for him, Ranveer said, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately.”

Ranveer showered praises on his wife and said, “. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. I was just waiting, I told her the minute you say so, and we’ll do it.”
Ranveer and Deepika got married in two wedding ceremonies- a South Indian Konkani wedding and a Sindhi Anand Karaj ceremony, honouring both their traditions. After the intimate wedding, they hosted a wedding reception in Bengaluru on November 21, followed by a crazy party hosted by Ranveer’s sister Ritika Bhavnani for the newlyweds on November 24. Today, their third reception for friends, family and media persons is going to take place. On December 1 the Bollywood fraternity will be present at the couple's final wedding reception.
