Simmba: In heartfelt speech, Ranveer Singh expresses sincere gratitude to Rohit Shetty; pure ‘love and energy’ here

We’re sure about the fact that Ranveer Singh’s and Sara Ali Khan’s chemistry in Simmba will be dhamakedaar but did you know that the 33-year-old actor has an “amazing chemistry” with director Rohit Shetty as well? In case, you weren’t aware of this, you must watch the video that has been made available by Karan Johar on social media.

“The love and the energy of ROHIT SHETTY AND RANVEER SINGH,” is what KJo, who is co-producing Simmba under his banner Dharma Productions, captioned his post as and it’s exactly that. Ranveer, in the video, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Rohit as he said that he enjoyed working with him.

“I hate making speeches, especially when shoot wraps but today, I want to say something. I was a big fan of Rohit Sir from the very beginning and I always used to think that it would be great if I got a chance to work with him. And then, I got a chance and my experience has been thousands of times more than what I had expected. I’ve never had such a blast making a movie in all the years that I have been working,” Ranveer said in the video.

Not just memories but Ranveer emphasized the fact that he has learnt a lot from Rohit while filming Simmba as well.

“The things I learned are things that I will carry forward for the rest of my life and it’s been cultivated and nurtured by Sir. When everybody works hard, a film like Simmba is made, which is going to be a blockbuster as per me. I am a big fan of you and now I don’t even have words to explain what I feel for you,” Ranveer added in the video that also features snippets of interactions between the duo from the sets of the film.

Simmba stars Ranveer and is scheduled to release on December 28. On the personal front, Ranveer married Deepika Padukone in a private ceremony on November 14 in Italy.
