Deepika-Ranveer Wedding: Madame Tussauds’ gift for the newlyweds is really special

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now husband and wife and the entire nation is feeling as their own family member has tied the knot. Their wedding pictures from the Konkani ceremony and Anand Karaj ceremony that was released last night broke the internet and now, a few photos of guests and family has started trickling in on social media. However, Deepika also received a fabulous gift on her wedding from none other than Madame Tussauds.

On the occasion of their wedding, Madame Tussauds decided to reveal when the wax statues of Deepika will be unveiled for public viewing. The announcement was made on Twitter by the organization’s official Twitter handle. They congratulated the couple and shared the happy news that the statue will be unveiled next year.

Earlier in July, Deepika had shared pictures of herself consulting with getting the details of her statue right. She had captioned the images as “It’s all about the details”.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot after dating for six years. They tied the knot in an intensely private ceremony that was held at Lake Como in Italy. They will be holding three lavish receptions in the country for their extended family, friends and the Bollywood fraternity once they are back in India.
