On Mahesh Bhatt’s 70th birthday his daughters Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt announced that the veteran filmmaker will once again take up the mantle of director and will direct Sadak 2 that features Ali, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja in the lead. After, the announcement of the sequel to the hit 1991 film Sadak, we have Pooja and Mahesh officially doing the recce for the film and Pooja shared quite a few breathtaking photos on her Instagram account.
Pooja shared a photo of herself with her father Mahesh in front of a helicopter and with mountains as the backdrop and captioned it as, “And our recce for ‘Sadak 2’ officially begins! Time to fly into the skies with Mahesh Bhatt. Here’s to the start of a great journey and life-changing experience for us all.” However, she soon deleted the picture. In Sadak Pooja played the role of a sex worker but the sequel will have her in a supporting role whereas Alia will be the main lead. It is a dream comes true for Alia as she always wanted to be directed by her father. Sadak 2 is scheduled for a November 15, 2019 release.
