Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film’s Zero trailer launched today on the superstar’s 53rd birthday. During the fun-filled event SRK along with his co-stars from the film Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and director Aanand L Rai interacted with the media and spoke about a lot of things and made a lot of revelations regarding the film. At the press conference, Shah Rukh spoke about one of the biggest cameos in the film, that of Salman Khan.
He revealed that it was Salman who convinced him to take up the role of Bauua Singh in Zero. Reportedly, Aanand had approached a lot of actors for the lead role but it was SRK who finally gave his nod to the film. Talking about the special song cameo, Shah Rukh said that even though Salman refused the project in the beginning, he still wanted to be a part of the project and had a crazy and hilarious suggestion for shooting the song as well.

Apparently, Salman had suggested getting a kid wearing Shah Rukh’s mask to shoot the song. SRK also said how he agreed to do the cameo in a jiffy, “He really wanted to be in the film. Aur Salman bohot hi pyara insaan hai yaar.”
Besides Salman, Zero also has cameos from actors including late Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill, R Madhavan, and Alia Bhatt.
