The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Zero is what the internet has been busy discussing since the beginning of this week and it has finally released on the actor’s birthday on November 2. Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero casts SRK as a vertically-challenged man Bauua Singh while Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma co-star. Salman Khan will appear in a cameo in the film.
The trailer of Zero is intriguing, to say the least. Anushka has been cast as Aneefa, a patient of Cerebral Palsy, who fumbles while talking but is aware of her desires from life. She is a genius and wants a match for herself, who is at par to her or perhaps, suffers from some sort of disability.

Katrina, on the other hand, plays a popular actress and it is quite clear from the poster itself that her role is pretty glamorous. Everybody dreams to date her and when Bauua manages to share a passionate kiss with Katrina, he is elated beyond belief. “Aisa lagta hai saare duniya ko haasil kar liya hai. Saare Hindustan ko haasil kar liya hai,” an excited Bauua exclaims.

The trailer ends with a twist as Bauua, perhaps had promised his lady love of acquiring the stars. Therefore, a referral scene of a spacecraft heading to space is seen which leaves a lot of unanswered questions.
The punch lines are hilarious and hard-hitting - completely commercial but emotional as well. The character of Bauaa can make you cry, feel angry and feel pity but he appears to be manipulative as well. It might seem that Bauua leaves Aneefa for Katrina’s character while both eventually dump him to teach him a lesson.
Seems, really interesting, right?
Zero is scheduled to release on December 21.
