Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have been setting couple goals since their big fat Punjabi wedding happened. Be it slaying the sartorial game together or being the cutesie-in-love couple, the duo has done it all. Today the couple unlocked a new level of #couplegoals as they celebrate their first Karwachauth together.
For the unversed, Karwachauth is the day when the wife does a fast, where she can't have any water or food throughout the day, which is fulfilled after the pooja in the night where they worship the moon. Legend suggests that this fast is observed to wish for a longer life for their significant other. The wife has to observe the fast and full shringaar (getting ready with proper makeup, mehendi, outfit and accessories) for the husband.
The couple took it to their Instagram accounts to post about the Karwachauth preparations. And to give his beloved wife Sonam some company, Anand too applied some henna on his hand!
Anand posted a snap of Sonam applying on her hand, check it out!
Sonam, on the other hand, posted a snap of their henna designs. While Anand only drew a heart on his palm, Sonam also had their initials in her design. Awwdorable, innit?
Sonam's mom, Sunita Kapoor's Karwachauth pooja is the most popular in the industry. Every year, all the wifeys of Bollywood get together at the Kapoor residence for the pooja on the auspicious day. Well, will Sonam be a part of it this time?
