#MeToo: Vicky Sidana's name dropped from John Abraham's Batla house credit roll?

In wake of the #MeToo movement in India, casting director Vicky Sidana was recently accused of sexual misconduct by actress Kritika Sharma after she alleged that he tried to rape her in 2013. Reportedly, she had also filed an official complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Maharashtra. Now in light of the recent accusations against Vicky, we hear that John Abraham, Nikkhil Advani and producer Bhushan Kumar have decided to drop his name from the credits roll of their upcoming project, Batla House. '

A leading daily quoted a production source as saying, "Vicky Sidana was the casting director on board Batla House. In light of the grave allegations against Sidana and the ongoing police investigation, John, Nikkhil and Bhushan have decided to drop his name from the final credit roll." Apparently, Vicky can't be fired from the project because his job is already done. While his contract states that he be credited for his work, the Batla House team has reportedly decided to show solidarity to several women, who have spoken up against the casting director.

For the unversed, Batla House is based on Delhi police’s encounter with the terrorist organization, Indian Mujahideen. It was DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav who led the operation and John will be stepping into his shoes.

Apart from Batla House, the makers of Salman Khan’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur’s debut film Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala have suspended their association with Vicky as well.
