Finally! Kizie Aur Manny’s Sanjana Sanghi dismisses reports of Sushant misbehaving with her on film sets

Sanjana Sanghi, who will be making her foray into Bollywood with Kizie Aur Manny, has dismissed reports of her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput misbehaving with her on the sets of the film, she said in a statement on Tuesday. Sanjana was in the US and read several “baseless and unfounded stories” upon her return following which she clarified that she hasn’t been a victim of any incident as such.

In her statement, Sanjana requested the press as well as her followers to terminate such conjecture. Reports of Sushant behaving inappropriately with Sanjana on the sets of Kizie Aur Manny surfaced last week as sources claimed that the young actress had purportedly said that the 32-year-old actor made her feel "uncomfortable" with his "overly friendly behaviour" while filming in Jodhpur.

In the wake of such allegations, Sushant shared screenshots of his text conversation with Sanjana and tweeted: "I feel sad to reveal personal information but it seems that there is no other way to state what was, in the midst of this curated and well-timed smear campaign. From the first till the last day of the shoot, this is what happened on the set with Sanjana."

Kizie Aur Manny director Mukesh Chhabra also supported the actor and said, "I totally stand by Sushant."

In the meantime, Fox Star Studios suspended Mukesh from directing Kizie Aur Manny after allegations of sexual harassment were levelled against him.

Kizie Aur Manny, the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars, was supposed to mark Mukesh’s debut as a director.
