Sajid Khan has been named as a serial sexual harasser and a creep for his sexual misconduct by actresses Saloni Chopra, Mandana Karimi and Rachel White. He has also been accused of flashing a journalist when she went to interview him. After these allegations, Sajid was dropped from his forthcoming project Housefull 4 that stars Akshay Kumar.
However, his family including his sister Farah Khan and cousin Farhan Akhtar are maintaining that the family did not know about his misconduct and alleged misbehaviour with women. Farhan lashed out at Amrita Puri for insinuating that Sajid’s family was in the know and deliberately kept mum on his sexual misconduct.

Farhan was one of the first male actors who openly supported the #MeToo campaign and applauded Tanushree Dutta for calling out Nana Patekar for the sexual harassment he meted out to her. He has also always championed for feminism and a safe world for women through his numerous social campaigns. Little did he know that he will find a serial harasser and culprit within his own family. He and Farah wrote that they were shocked by the allegations against Sajid. Amrita reacted to their statement saying that it was hard to believe that Sajid’s family did not know of his behaviour.

Amrita then apologized to Farhan saying that she did not know that they were related but said that Sajid’s conduct was fairly well known.

After the allegations, Sajid also issued a statement and wrote that he himself stepped down as the director of Housefull 4 until further investigation.

Many A-listers are finally speaking out and declaring their stand. Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn have already stated that they will not tolerate sexual harassment in their workspace and have tried to incorporate stringent measures to avoid it in their production houses. Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna was also the very first ones who supported Tanushree for her allegations against Nana and now the actor has also taken a step to ensure that his film or his name is not tarnished through Sajid.
