On his 76th birthday, Amitabh Bachchan opens up on sexual harassment after being called out by Tanushree Dutta

While several celebs from the film industry came out in support of Tanushree, Amitabh Bachchan recently faced flak for not addressing the raging issue when he was asked about it at the trailer launch of Thugs of Hindostan.

Now on his 76th birthday, Big B finally addressed the sexual harassment cases that have engulfed Bollywood, albeit in the most general way possible. Earlier, during the trailer launch of his upcoming film Thugs of HindostanAmitabh refrained from replying when asked about Tanushree-Nana controversy by mentioning, "Neither am I Tanushree nor am I, Nana." His statement disappointed Tanushree who lashed out at the veteran actor by indirectly saying that people do films on social causes (Pink) but when it comes to standing up for something, they give "evasive statements."
