Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap revealed on September 22 through Instagram that she has been detected with Stage 0 breast cancer. Moreover, her way of depicting the grievous situation in a light-hearted manner left everyone impressed with her strength to take on the illness. While wishes from all corners have been pouring in for Tahira and Ayushmann, the actor finally opened up on his wife's condition.
Ayushmann, who is currently occupied with the promotions of his upcoming films - Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun, got to know about Tahira's illness on his birthday. Speaking about how he took the news, he revealed to a leading daily, "Last week has been very difficult because I got to know about it (Tahira's illness) on my birthday. I've been spending time in the hospital with her on my birthday. Thankfully, today she got discharged and that is why she posted about it on Instagram."
He further revealed that they are kind of relieved now as Tahira's surgery was successful. "So, that's why I am more chirpy today, and it's a happy day," he added. The actor also re-posted Tahira's Instagram post on his social media and termed her as his "warrior princess", thereby thanking everyone for their wishes.

Meanwhile Tahira, through her post, also tried to spread awareness about realizing the early symptoms of breast cancer and suggested everyone be optimistic in life.
