Karan Singh Grover and his wife, actress Bipasha Basu are all set to reunite on screen after a period of three years with singer Mika Singh’s upcoming production Aadat. In an interview with a leading daily, Mika said that Aadat began filming in London over the weekend while the entire cast and crew will be shooting in the country for 45 days.
“I’ve always wanted to create something big, both in terms of music and movies. So, producing a great movie just felt like the best option. Aadat happened after I met the talented Bhushan Patel (director) and Vikram Bhatt (writer),” Mika told the daily. Aadat casts Bipasha as a cop while Karan plays a businessman.
Mika, in fact, is also composing a few tracks for the film, he said, adding that he had decided to cast Karan in Aadat after watching his performance in Hate Story 3. As per Mika, Bipasha and Karan share a great chemistry not just onscreen but off it as well.
“After watching Hate Story 3, I felt Karan would be the perfect fit for the thriller. He is a great actor with huge potential. Bipasha followed suit, as they have great on-screen chemistry,” Mika added.
Karan and Bipasha appeared together in 2015’s Alone and fell in love while working on the film. He married Bipasha in an elaborate ceremony in Mumbai a year later.
Karan is best known for his roles in the television series Solhah Singaarr, Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai. Alone was his debut film following which he also appeared in the movies Hate Story 3 and 3 Dev.
